Losing a phone can interrupt access to an account while also exposing saved sessions, email and verification messages. The immediate priority is to protect the missing device and the channels used to recover access. Trying random login links can make the situation harder to control.
This guide outlines a careful recovery sequence for 9Wicket users. The available controls depend on the device, mobile provider and current account process; no particular recovery option or completion time is assumed.
Use a trusted device to assess what is affected

Make a short inventory: the missing phone, the phone number, the primary email account and any sessions that may still be open. Identify which of these you can access from another trusted device. Avoid entering credentials on an unfamiliar borrowed computer when a secure alternative is available.
Record when the phone was last under your control. This time helps you review later alerts and account activity. Keep the record factual; a missing phone does not prove that an account has been accessed.
Protect the device and mobile number
Follow the device manufacturer’s lost-device instructions. For an iPhone or iPad, Apple’s lost-device guidance explains Find My and Lost Mode, including prerequisites and limitations. Use the equivalent official instructions for another device.
Contact the mobile network provider through its published route if the SIM or phone number may be exposed. Ask about protecting the number and restoring access. Do not assume a password change on one website disables a SIM or locks the physical phone.
Secure the recovery email separately
If the missing phone had access to your email, review the email provider’s security controls from a trusted device. Check recovery details and available session information. Follow the provider’s instructions when changing credentials or ending sessions.
This matters because an account password reset may send a link or code to that email address. Recovering one website while leaving the recovery channel exposed can leave the same problem unresolved.
Return to the established account access route
Use the 9Wicket login guide to locate the current access information. Open the page independently rather than through a message claiming that someone has found the phone or can restore the account for a fee.
Use a recovery control only if it is actually offered by the current account process. If a code is sent to a number you cannot access, stop and use the published assistance route. Repeatedly requesting codes does not restore control of the missing number.
Do not create another account to bypass recovery
A second registration can create a separate profile without restoring the records or balance of the original account. It may also conflict with account conditions. The 9Wicket registration page concerns account creation; it should not be treated as a replacement for recovering an existing account.
Keep the original username or other permitted identifier available for the recovery request. State clearly that you are trying to regain access to the existing profile.
Prepare a limited recovery request
Use the 9Wicket contact page to identify the support route. Explain that the phone is unavailable, which recovery channel you still control and what message prevents access. Ask for the current verification process and the next required step.
Review the 9Wicket privacy notice before submitting personal information. If identity evidence is requested, use the designated process and provide only what is required. Never send passwords, one-time codes or full payment credentials to a person offering informal recovery assistance.
Review activity after access is restored
Check available profile, contact and transaction records for changes since the phone was lost. An unfamiliar entry should be documented with its date and reference. Do not label every delayed notification as unauthorized activity without checking what it describes.
If the account provides session controls, review them and follow the published process for ending access you do not recognize. Keep the case reference and the steps completed in one private note.
Finish the recovery before returning to normal use
Confirm that the recovery email and phone number are under your control, the new device is protected and account access works through the intended route. Avoid keeping temporary recovery notes or credentials in a shared chat.
18+ only. Account recovery is a security task. There is no need to deposit or place a wager to demonstrate that access has been restored.
